The main town of the Debed Gorge region
is the former industrial centre of Alaverdi. With plenty of accommodation,
it provides a lively, central location for visits to the area.

Stepanavan was a former Soviet health
resort, and its lazy ambience and friendly residents ensure a pleasant
stay for the increasing number of visitors.
